  • 3 cups Puffed rice
  • 1 finely chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup Cucumber, chopped fine
  • 1 Potato (Aloo), boiled and diced
  • 1 Tomato, chopped fine
  • 2 Green Chilies, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted Peanuts
  • 2 spring Coriander Leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Making Process

  1. Combine all the ingredients one by one like potatoes, onions, cucumber, tomatoes, green chilies, cilantro leaves, lemon juice, muri masala and mustard oil in a large bowl to begin making the Jhal Muri and give it a good stir until well combined.
  2. Pour the puffed rice into the bowl and mix well
  3. Test and change the salt, spice and tanginess to match your taste.
  4. Serve the Jhal Muri as sides to the tea right away
